Cairo – Mubasher: Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (FAIT) has reported a 9.3% year-on-year profit increase during the first quarter of 2019
The bank’s profit went up to EGP 850.8 million ($49.09 million) in Q1-19 versus EGP 777.9 million in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement released on Tuesday.
Revenue surged to EGP 2.5 billion from January to the end of March, compared to EGP 2.08 billion in Q1-18.
The Egypt-listed bank reported a 41.2% year-on-year hike in consolidated profits in 2018, registering EGP 2.5 billion ($0.14 billion).
