Cairo – Mubasher: Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt on Monday said that the total value of its operations by the end of August 2016 reached EGP 58.7 billion up 2.9% from the same period in the preceding year.
The Islamic lender saw a year-on-year increase of 3.4% in its total assets to EGP 57.8 billion from EGP 55.96 billion, according to a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
The bank’s current accounts as well as saving vehicles surged 3.1% to EGP 51.3 billion.
Earlier, Faisal Islamic Bank posted net profits of EGP 427.03 million for the first half of 2016, up 10% year-on-year.
