Cairo – Mubasher: Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt reported further gains in the first-six month period, in spite of low profits during the second quarter, according a bourse statement.
H1 net profit grew 10% year-over-year to EGP 427.03 million from EGP 387.1 million.
In the second quarter, the bank registered EGP 152.23 million profits after tax, compared with EGP 190.2 million for the prior-year quarter.
Over the first three months, net profit increased by 39.5% to EGP 274.8 million.
