Faisal Islamic Bank’s business volume grows to EGP 101bn in September

Cairo – Mubasher: The financial indicators of Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt showed a 15.2% year-on-year increase in its business volume, registering EGP 100.89 billion at the end of September, compared to EGP 87.58 billion.

Assets held by the bank stood at 98.77 billion at the end of September, compared to EGP 86.05 billion at the end of the same month in 2018.

The Islamic lender’s current accounts and saving schemes rose to EGP 82.89 billion in the ninth month of 2019, while investment balances increased to EGP 90.96 billion.

The number of current accounts and saving schemes managed by the bank reached 1.701 million.

It is worth mentioning that during the first half of 2019, Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt posted a consolidated profit of EGP 1.35 billion, up from EGP 1.32 billion in H1-18.
