Fas Energy mulls further investments in Egypt

Cairo – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia-based Fas Energy is looking to establish a solar power plant and waste-recycling factory in Egypt with total investments of $420 million during the coming period.

The solar power plant’s total investments will amount to $95 million, while the factory will cost $325 million, Fas Energy’s general manager Sabri Asfour told Alborsa newspaper.

Fas Energy previously invested about $100 million to build a solar power plant at solar power complex Benban, located near the Upper Egypt governorate of Aswan.

The project provides around 500 direct and indirect job opportunities.
