Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Finance Minister Amr El-Garhy said a number of meetings will be held in London with a team from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to discuss the country’s economic indicators, ahead of the fund’s visit to Egypt in April.
He will also meet a large number of banks to discuss several issues including investment in treasury bills and bonds, Reuters reported.
El-Garhy and a team from his ministry are currently in London in a visit that will last till Sunday.
The 2017/2018 budget indicators, and the proposed stamp duty on stock market transactions will be submitted to the Economic Affairs Committee within two weeks, he told Reuters
