Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market fell in Thursday’s mid trading by 0.03% or 1.8 point to the level of 5,735.68 points.
Trading volume reached 4.24 million shares exchanged at OMR 712,700 through 245 transactions.
The financial sector declined 0.29% due to a 1.39% fall in Al Madina Takaful; the industrial sector shrank 0.18% as Galfar Engineering retreated 0.99%.
On the other hand, the services sector leapt 0.05%, backed by an increase of 1.2% in Ooredoo Oman, the best performing stock.
