Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) closed Wednesday in the green after gaining 0.13% or 6.83 points reaching 5,430.09 points.
The financial sector rose 0.24% as Al Sharqiya Investment, National Bank of Oman (NBO), and Al Madina Investment Company increased 2.65%, 1.81%, and 1.52%, respectively.
The services sector grew 0.1% after United Power Company gained 9.23% and Phoenix Power went up 1.52%.
On the flipside, the industry sector shed 0.18% as Raysut Cement fell 2.24%.
Traded volume dropped to 10.26 million shares on Wednesday against 10.68 million shares on Tuesday, whereas liquidity rose to OMR 2.17 million against OMR 2.15 million.
