Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Tuesday 0.3% or 16.14 points higher reaching 5,432.61 points.
The financial sector grew 0.46% as Oman ORIX Leasing, Al Madina Takaful, and Ominvest increased 10%, 2.94%, and 1.96%, respectively, whereas Financial Services retreated 7.41%.
The services sector inched up 0.08% after Ooredoo gained 1.2%.
On the other hand, the industry sector edged down 0.09% as Oman Fisheries lost 1.38%.
Traded volume rose to 27.93 million shares on Tuesday against 6.3 million shares on Monday, while trading value increased to OMR 3.7 million from OMR 1.31 million.
