Financial leasing contracts seen at EGP 60bn by 2022 – FRA

Cairo – Mubasher: The financial leasing contracts in Egypt are expected to grow to EG 60 billion by 2022, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported, citing the head of the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) Mohamed Omran as saying.

Omran added that financial leasing contracts stood at EGP 48 billion at the end of last June, compared to EGP 32 billion at the end of June 2018.

In addition, factored securities grew to EGP 9.9 billion last June from EGP 8.8 billion in the same month a year earlier, with plans to reach EGP 20 billion by 2022, he added.
