Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market rose in Wednesday’s mid trading by 0.22% or 12.33 points from Tuesday’s closing level.
Trading volume reached 4.83 million shares exchanged at OMR 1.5 million through 245 transactions.
The financial sector grew 0.21% as Al Batinah Development and Investment Holding and National Bank of Oman leapt 2.27% and 1.73% respectively, while Al Omaniya Financial Services declined 6.67%.
The services sector also advanced 0.13% due to the rise in Ooredoo and Omantel by 1.8% and 0.33% respectively.
The industrial sector increased 0.01%, backed by a 0.93% growth in Galfar Engineering.
Raysut Cement made the highest liquidity of OMR 474,000, while Bank Dhofar was the largest-traded stock with a volume of 888,780 shares.
