Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market fell at Thursday’s close by 0.16% or 8.72 points to the level of 5,642.14 points.
Trading volume decreased to 6.78 million shares from 7.63 million shares exchanged on Wednesday, while turnover increased to OMR 1.71 million from OMR 1.6 million.
The financial sector declined 0.30% due to a 3.08% fall in National Bank of Oman.
On the other hand, the services sector rose 0.12% as Al Batinah Power leapt 1.04%, and the industrial sector grew 0.04% as Oman Fisheries levelled up 1.69%.
