Mubasher: Fitch Ratings has upgraded Kuwait Energy Long-Term Foreign-Currency Issuer Default Rating to 'B-' from 'CCC', with a stable outlook.
The rating agency reflected the removal of the uncertainties regarding the repayment of $250 million bonds due 4 August this year, following the repayment of these bonds at maturity, according to a statement released on Wednesday.
Moreover, Fitch withdrew the company’s rating for commercial reasons.
