Flight MS804 disappearance open for all scenarios – France PM

Cairo – Mubasher: French Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, said all scenarios for the disappearance of EgyptAir’s aeroplane should be considered.

"At this stage, no theory can be excluded regarding the causes of the disappearance", said the French premier.

Earlier, EgyptAir said a plane from Paris to Cairo with 66 people on board disappeared after entering the Egyptian airspace early Thursday.

A few moments ago, Associated Press said the Flight MS804 crashed in the Mediterranean Sea according to Egyptian aviation officials.

President Francois Hollande's office spoke to his Egyptian counterpart for cooperating closely on the case.

“Hollande also set up a crisis meeting of top ministers, including Valls, the foreign, defence and interior ministers, according to sources close to his Elysée office. An emergency centre has also been established at Paris' main airport attended by representatives of the airline and the Egyptian embassy, senior French airport official Philippe Riffault said”, France24 reported.

The passengers’ nationalities include 30 Egyptians, 15 French citizens, two Iraqis and one each of British, Belgian, Kuwaiti, Saudi, Sudanese, Chadian, Portuguese, Algerian and Canadian.
