Cairo – Mubasher: Greek state TV said authorities found debris of EgyptAir’s plane near a Greek Island in Southern Mediterranean.
“The official says the items were found 230 miles (370 kilometers) south-southeast of the island of Crete but still within the Egyptian air traffic control area. One of the items was oblong, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity in accordance with regulations”, according to Ahram Online.
The Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation, Sherif Fathy, earlier said no trace of the plane is found. If it emerged, a committee, including Egypt, France, and international bodies, will be assigned to find out the reason behind its wreckage.
