Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE’s Federal Tax Authority (FTA) on Thursday stated that the value-added tax (VAT) would be imposed on the flight tickets at zero rates.
Air transportation goods and services, or international goods are subject to VAT at zero rates, the FTA added, according to Al Bayan newspaper.
Sectors which are subject to zero-rate VAT pay the levied 5%, and then redeem it from the government without passing it to the consumer, the FTA clarified in an earlier statement.
