Flydubai passenger traffic to Europe grows 76%

Mubasher: Dubai’s low-cost carrier flydubai said Monday that passengers’ number on its flights between Dubai and European destinations grew by 76.7% over the past year, compared to 2014.

The company stated in a statement that its flights to Europe increased by 53%.

It added that it aims to promote trade, tourism and travel by providing services to travellers to, from and through Dubai focusing on destinations that previously suffered from the weakness of air link.

Flydubai confirmed that it will receive 11 Boeing 737-800 aircrafts this year and 100 737 Max model aircrafts in the second half of 2017 until the end of 2023.
