Cairo – Mubasher: Food Industries Holding Company, an affiliate to Egypt’s Supply Ministry, is planning to merge Alexandria Oil & Soap Company (AOSC) and the Egyptian Starch, Yeast & Detergents Company (ESYDC).
ESYDC is unable to operate all production lines due to the shortage in raw materials, the company’s chairman Ahmad Abdul Wahab stated, according to Al Borsa newspaper.
The Cairo-based company’s financial situation will be evaluated and its accumulated debt will be determined, Abdul Wahab added.
