Food prices continue to rise in Ramadan’s 2nd week

Dubai-Mubasher: The prices of food commodities increased 0.66% during the second week of Ramadan as compared to the previous week, according to a recent report issued by Dubai Statistics Center.

The prices grew due to an increase in prices of some Ramadan items in the consumer basket, the report added.

The prices of fish and seafood were significantly up by 3.36% due to the increase of some types of fresh fish.

Furthermore, the group of meat showed a rise of 1.49% in prices.
