Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) fell in Tuesday’s early trading by 0.96% or 123.8 points to the level of 12,802.26 points.
The EGX70, EGX100 and EGX50 indices also declined by 0.53%, 1.44% and 1.26% respectively.
Turnover amounted to EGP 45.8 million as 25.219 million shares were exchanged by 10:16am Cairo time.
Citadel Capital made the highest turnover of EGP 10.9 million, the stock went down 0.83% to EGP 1.2.
Orascom Telecom shrank 3.85%, EFG Hermes declined 1.5% and Heliopolis Housing dropped 2.3%.
Net sales by foreign and Arab investors reached EGP 2.88 million and EGP 2.77 million respectively, while net purchases by local investors amounted to EGP 5.65 million.
