Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Foreign assets registered at the UAE's central bank increased 0.6% year-on-year in February 2017, according to data released by the bank late Wednesday.
Foreign assets rose to AED 307.9 billion ($83.84 billion) by the end of last month, up from AED 306.1 billion ($83.35 billion) by the end of February 2016.
On a month-on-month basis, foreign assets were up by AED 17.1 billion or 5.88%, from AED 290.8 billion by the end of January 2017, data released by the Central Bank of the UAE showed.
Foreign deposits in the bank also grew 11.1% month-on-month in February.
