Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose in Thursday’s mid trading by 0.21% to the level of 13,661.8 points.
By 11:03 am Cairo time, the EGX70 index advanced 1.06% to 613.3 points, the EGX100 index ascended 0.4% to 1,434.9 points, and the EGX50 index levelled up 0.64% to 2,095.4 points.
Trading volume reached 109.4 million shares exchanged at EGP 430.6 million through 8,600 transactions.
Foreign investors were net buyers by EGP 121.5 million, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 71.5 million and EGP 50 million, respectively.
Citadel rose 4.9%, Crédit Agricole grew 4.04%, Arabian Cement increased 2.81%, Emaar Misr levelled up 2.55%, and Arab Cotton Ginning advanced 1.91%.
The Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) rose 0.79% to EGP 84.72.
Meanwhile, Eastern Company, Cairo Oils, and Juhayna fell between 3.8% and 0.4%.
