Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Wednesday’s trading session in green territory, supported by the jump of four sectors.
By 10:11 am Qatar time, the general index inched up 0.21% to 9,207.62 points, adding 19.2 points.
The bourse's turnover amounted to QAR 38.7 million after 2.5 million shares exchanged through 675 transactions.
The telecommunication sector topped the QSE’s risers adding 1.2%. Meanwhile, the insurance sector headed the bourse’s three losers falling 0.81%.
Vodafone Qatar’s stock led the market in terms of trading volume with 1.48 million shares, generating a turnover of QAR 13.83 million.
