Four stocks boost ADX higher on Thursday

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) traded in the green during Wednesday’s trading session backed by four of its stocks.

By 1 pm UAE time, the general index grew 0.31% or 15 points, reaching 4,845.39 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 359.781 million after 166.76 million shares were traded through 1,091 transactions.

Wahat Al Zaweya’s stock led the bourse’s stocks in terms of value and volume with AED 25 million and 12.06 million shares exchanged, respectively.

The banks sector added 1.14% as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) gained 1.6% after 1.5 million shares changed hands, generating AED 20.51 million, while Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) increased 1.37% after 315,695 shares were exchanged at a turnover of AED 2.56 million.

Moreover, RAK Properties and ADNOC Distribution went up 0.78% and 0.44%, respectively.
