Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: French oil and gas Total said it is in talks with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to expand their mutual investments in the UAE.
Total Hatem Nuseibeh, Total’s representative in the UAE said that his firm is a key partner of ADNOC in all its local projects, specially in Abu Dhabi, revealing that Total has plans to turn Abu Al Bukhoosh (ABK) into “one of the biggest oil-producing fields.”
ABK currently produces 8,000 barrels and 600 million cubic feet of gas.
The chairman emphasised that Total’s projects in the country are ongoing and are not affected by weakening oil price, noting that UAE is one of the firm’s most vital areas in the world.
