Cairo – Mubasher: French investments in Egypt stood at $4 billion through 160 French firms, the Egyptian investment minister said.

The French companies operating in Egypt have offered around 35,000 jobs in the fields of industry, tourism, agriculture, telecommunication, transport, infrastructure, and financial services, Sahar Nasr highlighted in a statement.

She added that the French firms have raised their investments in the most populous Arab country by $200 million during the previous fiscal year.

This came on the sidelines of the Egyptian-French Health Forum, organised by the French Embassy in Cairo in coordination with Al-Ahram Organisation and the Movement of the Enterprises of France (MEDEF).
