Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Fujairah Cement Industries will save AED 15 million per year after introducing a 12 MWwaste heat recovery system power plant that became operational at the end of December 2015, according to a bourse filing on Monday.
The company, which is listed on both Abu Dhabi and Kuwait, said that the financial impact of the environment-friendly plant will appear in its financial results for Q2-16.
The project will help Fujairah to cut the costs of production and electricity consumption, as well as reducing CO2 emissions.
