Dubai – Mubasher: The Emirate of Fujairah’s foreign trade recorded around AED 14.4 billion in 2017, up 6% from the year-ago period.
Imports reached AED 7.4 billion in the previous year, while exports and re-exports hit AED 7.4 billion and AED 4.4 billion, respectively, in the same period.
The emirate’s foreign zone trade reached over AED 8 billion in the last four months, Customs Department’s data showed.
Fujairah’s top exporter was the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with AED 1.8 billion worth of goods, while India came second with AED 1.2 billion.
