Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Inflation in the Emirate of Fujairah grew during February 2018.
The emirate’s consumer price index (CPI) increased by 4.16% year-on-year in the second month of 2018, a local newspaper reported on Wednesday, citing a survey conducted by Fujairah Statistics Centre.
In February, the prices of tobacco surged 55.53% due to the levy of the excise tax, while the prices of transportation, education, and clothes and footwear rose 12.32%, 5% and 4.32%, respectively.
