Dubai – Mubasher: The second annual edition of Future Blockchain Summit kicks off in Dubai on Tuesday, 2 April.
Running from 2-3 April, the event will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), according to a recent press release.
The two-day summit will host up to 120 superstar speakers, in addition to offering 101 workshops, the press added.
The region’s most influential event, whose current edition is hosted by the Smart Dubai Office in partnership with the DWTC, dedicated to the growing online ledger.
Future Blockchain will host the region’s largest gathering of blockchain experts, implementing blockchain to lift the veil on the technology, focusing on the countless ways that it is altering industries and delivering multi-billion dollar opportunities for the international blockchain industry, the press release noted.
The event will also focus on real-world implementation, delivered through high-end content tracks dedicated to sectors identified as ripe for disruption by blockchain.
These sectors include the real estate, retail, healthcare, transportation, tourism, energy, and finance and marketing.
However, the world’s first “City of the Future” experience of a city built on Blockchain will be introduced during the event.
Market-leading content with real use cases from leading brands including Tencent, Johnson & Johnson, Maersk, HSBC, eBay, FedEx, and Lufthansa will be displayed over Dubai’s summit.
Moreover, UAE-based entities including du, Dubai Land Department (DLD), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Dubai Health Authority and Finablr will also be displaying their blockchain innovations.

It is worth noting that Future Blockchain Summit will also host the BlockHealth Summit, organised by Patientory, discussing the adoption of blockchain in the healthcare industry.
