Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of developing and promoting for the Egyptian investment zones with the Singapore Island Country Club (SICC).
The Egyptian minister of investment and international cooperation, Sahar Nasr, said that the ministry is seeking to establish, develop, manage, and promote investment and free zones through a partnership between both the public and private sectors to attract more investments.
This MoU is one of the fruitful results of Nasr’s last visit to Singapore with the chairman of the Suez Canal Authority (SCZ) Mohab Mamish, the minister added in a statement on Sunday.
After signing the MoU, the minister held a meeting with SICC’s chairman, as development operations will start at the investment zones in Qena, Kafr El-Sheikh, Banha, and Qalyubia.
