Cairo – Mubasher: Mohamed Khodeir, the CEO of the General Authority for Investment (GAFI) on Sunday announced that he had not resigned but was carrying on with this duties.
Earlier on Sunday, local media reported, citing sources, that the GAFI chief had submitted his resignation to minister Sahar Nasr.
In its statement, Khodeir called upon the media to be accurate in their reports and not bas their information on invalidated rumours.
Last week, prime minister Sherif Ismail reshuffled the Cabinet, which included the removal of former investment minister Dalia Khorshid, as well as the merger of the investment and international cooperation ministries, which are not headed by Sahar Nasr.
Khodeir was appointed GAFI CEO in June 2016.
