GAFI to Tender 180 plots of land

Cairo – Decypha:  Egypt’s General Authority for Investment (GAFI) aims to offer 180 land plots in the coming 4 months, half of which will be offered before the end of April, Mohamed Khodair, Head of GAFI told Almal.

Location and size of plots was not disclosed.

The move is part of the authority’s plan to put forward 1000 land plots, of which it aims at offering an initial 430 plots.

Three authorities in Egypt tender off land, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) mainly concerned with residential and commercial projects; the Tourism Development Authority (TDA) which tenders land dedicated to touristic purposes; and GAFI which offers land for different investment scopes.
