Cairo – Mubasher: British Egyptian Company for General Development’s (GALINA) profits for fiscal year 2016 leapt 349% to EGP 3.58 million, compared to EGP 797,700 for FY15.
Sales increased in FY16 to EGP 70.3 million from EGP 50.9 million in FY15, a statement to the bourse said on Wednesday.
The company’s financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2016 were positively affected by the flotation of the Egyptian pound, another statement said.
