Mubasher: Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK) reported a growth of 7.8% in profits during the fourth quarter of 2016 as compared to the same period a year ago.
Earnings increased to KWD 10.14 million ($33.18 million) in Q4-16 from KWD9.4 million ($30.75 million) in Q4-15, according to a bourse statement issued on Monday.
During the fiscal year of 2016, profits amounted to KWD 42.94 million which came 10.1% higher from KWD 39 million.
GBK’s board has recommended a cash dividend of 7% or 7 fils per share, the statement added.
