Kuwait – Mubasher: The board of the Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK) approved on Sunday the resignation of CEO Sezer Gonzalez Bueno.
The resignation decision was due to personal reasons, according to a bourse statement issued Monday.
The CEO will carry on his work responsibilities until the resignation is effective on 30 November, GBK said, adding that the resignation will not affect the bank’s financial position.
Meanwhile, GBK stock retreated 0.8% to reach 230 fils by 9:15am Kuwait time on Monday, with liquidity below KWD 340.
