GCC, Egypt bourses lose $139bn YTD

Riyadh – Mubasher: Gulf and Egypt’s stock markets lost $ 139.3 billion (14.34%) of their capitalisation year-to-date.

Saudi’s bourse Tadawul incurred the biggest loss with 59.8%.  It was followed by Qatari market with 18.8%. Dubai Financial Market came third with 7.1%.

The regional bourses were weighed  by several economic and geopolitical crises mainly Chinese economic slowdown and theoil prices’ drop.
