GCC bourses’ trend subject to oil prices, global stocks - Analysts

By: Mahmoud Gamal

Mubasher: The GCC stock markets are expected to see further fluctuations on Monday, amid anticipation for the performance of oil prices and global stocks to be affected by US President Donald Trump’s unclear vision, analysts told Mubasher.

Investors are awaiting other news, like the French election outcome and the extension of OPEC’s agreement to cut crude oil production, financial analyst Khaled Al Muzaini said.

The GCC bourses are witnessing speculations that target to cover portfolios’ losses, Al Muzaini said, adding that the markets did not see any new liquidity two months ago.

Traders should make quick speculations to make use of the rebound in some markets and reduce losses incurred by their portfolios in the past sessions, capital market analyst Hamoud Al Shammari noted.
