Dubai-Mubasher: The net value of GCC construction projects reaches $2.7 trillion, of which $172 billion were allocated for the region's projects in 2015; the biggest amount allotted for one year, according to a recent report by MEED Projects.
The green and smart buildings are considered the main trend in the GCC building and construction sector, the report stated.
It added that using top-notch technologies became necessary for building modern malls, hotels, hospitals, airport and schools.
Waseela Telecom, a leading regional provider of integrated telecomm solutions and managed services, said it has provided building projects in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar with integrated systems at a total value of $10 million in 2015.
