Dubai - Mubasher: Fertilizers production in the GCC countries will reach 43.1 million tons by the year 2021, according to a report by the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA).
Production is expected to increase by 14% during the next five years, the report indicated.
Since 2005, production levels have doubled, recording 37.8 million tons, with sales revenues reaching $6.3 billion.
This comes as a result of a growing demand from exporting markets, especially India, US, and Brazil, stated the report.
