Mubasher: The Gulf stock markets are in need of new liquidity during this week in order to face key resistance levels amid a speculative trend and the decline in oil prices, analysts told Mubasher.
The GCC markets are expected to see weak trading activity at the beginning of the week, as investors await an improvement in liquidity and a rebound in oil prices, capital market analyst Inas Imaqdish said.
The Gulf stock markets are foreseen to remain in a fluctuation trend during the coming period, until the US Federal Reserve takes a decision about interest rates, which will be the main director of the stocks this week, capital market analyst Muhammad Al Azmi said.
