Mubasher: The GCC stock markets are expected to suffer further losses this week, after the UK has voted for leaving the European Union, analysts told Mubasher.
The GCC markets usually face global crises with strong falls in the beginning of the week, financial analyst Mohamad Al-Shimiry said, expecting speed recovery with portfolio investments seeking to improve the mid-year closures.
An investment map is predicted to be restructured on the global level, following the UK’s vote to leave the EU, the analyst said.
He added that the GCC countries will be deeply affected by this vote due to their large investments in the economic sector in London.
