Dubai – Mubasher: The GCC petrochemicals sector needs to see more merging and acquisitions activities, said Yousef Abdullah Al-Benyan, CEO of Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA)
“The petrochemicals industry in Gulf region needs the adoption of more initiatives as well as maximizing the added value,” noted Al-Benyan.
“The gulf petrochemicals companies lack integrity which hurts increasing the production capacity,” added CEO.
Elaborated, he pointed out that GCC’s petrochemicals firms play major role in the international petrochemicals sector and they are capable to expand globally.
“The recent increasing investments of the GCC companies in the petrochemicals sector have contributed in offering more job opportunities,” said Al-Benyan.
