Riyadh-Mubasher: The GCC power linkage project will save SAR 30 billion in 25 years for the region, said Saleh Alawaji, Saudi minister of electricity and water.
He added that most requirements of Saudi-Egyptian power linkage project were completed, and the contracts will be signed in mid-2016, Al-Watan newspaper reported.
He added that the project will be launched by the end of 2018.
