GE Healthcare to expand footprint in UAE

Dubai – Mubasher: General Electric's (GE) healthcare division on Wednesday said that it would equip the radiology department at King's College Hospital in the UAE with the cutting-edge radiology equipment.

The state-of-the-art hospital is set to be inaugurated this year, the Boston-based company said in a statement.

King's College Hospital UAE is an AED 734 million joint venture between Dubai's Al Tayer group, Dubai Investments and the London-based Ashmore Group.

Built within the Dubai Hills Estate master development, the 100-bed healthcare facility is scheduled to be operational in the first quarter of 2019.
