UAE – Mubasher: GEMS Education on Thursday announced the acquisition of Saudi Arabia’s Ma’arif Education Group, in partnership with Hassana Investment Company.
The value of the deal was not revealed, according to Reuters.
“The Ma’arif acquisition of 14 schools is an ideal platform from which to grow, and we are incredibly excited about further expansion in the country,” Gems’ CEO Dino Varkey commented.
Situated on the UAE, Gems Education owns and operates more than 50 schools across the Middle East and North Africa.
