Mubasher: GFH Financial Group on Sunday announced the details of the market-making transactions carried out by its market maker SICO in August on both Bahrain Bourse and the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
The total number of securities purchased on the DFM reached 11.895 million shares in August, while the securities sold amounted to 20.189 million shares, the group said in a statement to the DFM and Bahrain Bourse.
Moreover, the total number of securities purchased on Bahrain Bourse stood at 3.036 million shares last month, and the sold securities were 8.917 million shares, the Bahrain-based group added.
In the DFM, total money paid amounted to AED 10.71 million last August, and total money received reached AED 18.062 million, the Islamic wholesale investment bank indicated.
Additionally, the total money paid in Bahrain Bourse were $737,270 and total money received reached $2.147 million.
