Cairo – Mubasher: Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Company (Ganoub) is planning to drill nine exploratory wells during the second six months of the fiscal year 2019-2020 in various areas, in a bid to increase the average crude oil production to 25,000 barrels per day.
Ganoub has another plans to build 11 supply and service stations, increasing the total number of its stations to 77, the company’s chairman Mohammed Abdel Azeim stated.
The top official noted that Ganoub was targeting the refining of 4 million tonnes of crude oil in Asyut refinery.
The geophysical data of the Red Sea area has been processed by WesternGeco Schlumberger, with $715 million investment, paving the way for the launch of an international bid for explorations in the area, Abdel Azeim revealed.
