Alexandria – Mubasher: German investments in Egypt reached about $11 billion, Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported, citing the president of German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GACIC) Emad Ghaly as saying.
Germany is one of Egypt’s major partners in many fields, including energy and industry, Ghaly pointed out during the inauguration of the Mediterranean Tourism Forum organised by the Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Mediterranean (ASCAME).
As for tourism sector, German visitors accounted for about a third of the total number of tourists visiting Egypt per year, he added.
