Mubasher: German manufacturing orders were up in March on the back of rising demand for products from outside the Eurozone, the German economics ministry said on Monday.
Total manufacturing orders in the country increased 1.9% month-on-month in March, compared to a decline of 0.8% in February.
Foreign demand was up 4.3% month-on-month, whereas local demand was down 1.2%, the ministry said in a statement on its official website.
In annual terms, total orders for Germany's manufacturing sector retreated 1.2% from March 2015, but rose 1.7% when taking account of the number of working days in each month.
